This past weekend, Botaski hosted 70 skiers from 21 countries competing at the BOTASKI PRO AM & NAUTIQUE BIG DAWG WORLD TOUR STOP 3.
Our own hometown skier Sandra Botas broke the new Spanish Record with 2 buoys at 10.75m. All the hard work pays off and we are really proud of her.
During the BOTASKI PRO AM, 4 Pro skiers went into 9.75m, Robert Pigozzi DOM (1.00 @ 9.75m), Sacha Descuns FRA (1.00 @ 9.75m), Jon Travers USA (1.00 @ 9.75m) and Will Asher (0.50 @ 9.75m).
Robert Pigozzi, also broke the U21 World Record. The skiing conditions were fantastic at the site and its the first time in the Waterski history that 4 skiers got into 9.75m in a same tournament.
Will Asher won the finals head to head against Brando Caruso and Jon Travers came in third.
At NAUTIQUE BIG DAWG WORLD TOUR STOP 3, skiers +35 from 11 countries fought for a place in the final. The final head to head was between the American Greg Sund and the french skier, Philippe Draux. Sund outside his competitor for first place in this 3rd stop of the Big Dawg series.
We want to thank all skiers, officials and sponsors for the great support that was received. Special thanks to our friend Michael de Mello for the unconditional support and Nautique for believing is us.
